This ancient,Chlorite-included Quartz

crystal is a triplet;three crystals growing

 as a twin does,sharing the same

base but with three separate terminations.

The Chlorite seems dense inside the piece,

but when held to the light one can see

through it!It also forms a distinct phantom

inside the surface of the clear Quartz.

The base and the babies(there's three)

are all self-healed,and at least one of

them are a penetrator,growing inward.

There is a rather large key on the backside

which is healed,and a large portion of two

 sides toward the back had been heavily

corroded by the Chlorite,at some point,

and then healed over later on with

another layer of Quartz.Another episode

in the crystals long life included some

type of terrestrial trauma,probably an

earthquake,which broke the top-left

side away from the rest of the body,or

at least heavily cracked it.That portion

then rehealed back onto the crystal

when a yellowish-tan mineral filled the

crack and hardened,effectively gluing it

back together.The lower third of the piece

also contains interesting features,including

mist,veils possible penetrators,possible

manifestors and traces of Chlorite and

other minerals.With backlighting some of

the less-visible features come out,including

the Chlorite phantom in the tip which forms

three distinct tips.Overall,a very old-feeling

 piece of Quartz with tremendous capabilities

for healing and protection.This is truly a

healers dream-come-true.This old-soul

hails from South Africa,and is five inches

long and  one and a half inches at its

The feeling one gets when you hold

one of these pieces is simply in-

describeable!It is exhilarating in

itself if only because of its rarity,but there

is much more.It is a guide that will lead

you on a fantastic journey deep within

yourself,and will lift you to heights

which could only be imagined before!

It is a keeper as well as a provider,a power-

ful energizer and also a gentle protector.

It is,in short,the most amazing crystal I

have ever kept.But as a Keeper,it is my

duty to pass all stones along when their time

comes;and so it is with a heavy heart that

I place this being on the site.It is,however,the

knowledge that the rightful owner will come

together with this being,that sustains me.

Parting is indeed,such sweet sorrow.

This beauty is three and one half inches

from the tip of the base to the top of the

termination.It is also one and one half inches

in depth and width.The features are so

numerous,

it could take volumes to describe them all.I

will touch on a few of them here,and you will

have

 to discover the rest for yourself.

The bottom half of the Crystal is veiled and

misted

with a tendency to clear somewhat on its way

toward the termination.There is a massive

double-

key on the backside which consumes two full

sides of the Crystal.It is completely rehealed,and

in the main crease is a fine line of Sugar Quartz.

The overall form of the Crystal is Cathedral-style,

and it has students and babies popping about.

The base itself is completely re-Crystallized with

uncountable triangular faces which sweep

toward

the rear of the Crystal.A good portion of these,

toward the front,contain a mauve phantom,very

reminiscent of Lithium.Just to the left of this area

is a small,bright-red inclusion.At the rear of the

Crystal,a group of babies jut out from the main

body.

Two of them contain Ajoite  inclusions.The faces

of the

main Crystal itself are quite clear,with very light

record

keepers in abundance,as well as light etchings.

Starburst-type Ajoite inclusions reside in or near

the tip,as well as a less-pronounced phantom-

type inclusion.The Crystal displays well on its

base

at a rather rakish angle.This Crystal is totally

natural,

as found.It is a floater,DT/ET,with no point of

attachment.

There is no part of this Crystal which has been

polished,

it is complete and natural,as found.Origin:Messina

  Fluorite on Quartz is certainly nothing

new,but this one is exceptional.It is a

5.5 inch long double-terminated clear

Quartz Crystal,2 inches wide at the

narrow end,and 2.5 wide at the other.It

is nearly filled with heavy mist,but the

portions that are clear,are exceptionally

so.It has been broken and re-healed at

 one end,and there is a broken/re-

healed smaller Crystal protruding from

one side just below that point.On the

same side is an old,re-healed contact

area,which runs about two-thirds the

length of the Crystal.Two of the sides

and faces are  completely encrusted

with small clear Fluorite Crystals,which

are intermixed with varying concentrations

of even smaller cubic Pyrite Crystals.

The effect is quite stunning.Toward the

wider end,there is a heavier concentration

of the Pyrite upon which is perched a

small(5/8ths inch)double-terminated,Tabby

Quartz Crystal.This piece really has to

be seen to be fully appreciated,but the

pictures do a pretty good job of describing

A very interesting piece,this Crystal

is a rather bulky Elestial with Cathedral

tendencies.The lower three-fourths of

the piece consists of several Crystals

fused together in such a way that they

appear to all share a common face!

There is another,more singular termin-

ation above that mass.The Green colorat-

ion,probably due to Chlorite,is more

concentrated on the top-portions of the

sides and on the faces of the actual

Crystals,but is scattered throughout to

some degree.All contacted areas of

this Crystal are re-healed.There is a

very small un-healed contact area which

lays about one-third up from the bottom,

on the right side near the back.It does

not affect displayability,or interfere with

 the energy  flow in any way.

This is one of the largest Garnets

I've seen,cut and polished!It is

huge.Although I am unsure,I would

guess that the original rough piece

hailed from China,but that is not certain.

Wether it was cut there,or in the

United States is also questionable,but

it certainly has a very good polished

finish.Garnet is a great manifestation

stone as well as being very protective

and is an excellent healing stone as well.

 Its dimensions are;3 inchesx2.5 inches

x2.5 inches!
