GB's Wood and Gems

      We have a large variety of wood available for

custom items;staffs,wands,ritual items

,statues,etcetera.These include,but are not

 limited to Holly,Oak,Lightning-struck

Oak,Willow,Dogwood,Honey Locust,Maple,

Sweetgum,Red Cedar,White Cedar,Magnolia

,Hickory and CrabApple.Stocks of some

woods may become depleted at

various times,and other woods than those

listed may be added.I collect all of the wood

myself,from the local forest.I also have

a few specialty items,such as Cedar root,

Willow root,Bayberry wood and Holly root.

Some of the woods listedare rare and hard

to obtain,i.e. Magnolia,Dogwood and

Lightning-struck Oak.Lightning struck Oak

may need some explanation here;it is very

old Oak wood which comes from a tree

that was killed by lightning strikes.The

lightning alters thewood to the extent

that it becomes very hard and rot/insect

resistant.This allows it to remain on the

forest floor for a verylong period of time

.It is a powerfull wood for wands and ritual

items.I also have a limited quantity of

Bogwood on hand,some of it is

completely black,and some is mottled

with brown.This is only available in sizes

suited for wands,or possibly a small

statue.Here are a few pictures of some

of my wood stocks;youwill notice a

 lot of twisted or spiral peices.I love to work

thesepeices,and to work with the staffs and

wands made from them.They carry a

 special energy all their own.It is a good policy

 to checkwith me at any given time to

determine what types of wood are on hand

prior to ordering a special item.
